For the third year in a row, M-PLIFY S.A. organised on May 19, 2015, its "Experience Day BCP/DRP & ERP". More than 50 participants attended the event, which was introduced by Izidor Ciglar, CEO of M-PLIFY S.A.

Representatives of the Finance and Aviation sectors

This year, M-PLIFY S.A. had the pleasure to welcome Mrs Carine Dufrasne, Director of the Organisation Division and BCP Coordinator of the BCEE (Banque et Caise d'Épargne de l'État Luxembourg) and Pierre Halleux, Assistant Director, Security Department of Brussels South Charleroi Airport. After the presentations, all guests and BCP / ERP specialists of the Finance and Aviation sectors had the opportunity to meet and exchange their experiences during a subsequent walking lunch in the premises of chocolatier Namur.

During the presentation, Mrs Dufrasne and Mr Halleux discussed different needs to trigger their internal emergency plans in relation with the use of AlarmTILT®. It was an exceptional opportunity for all participants to familiarise themselves with the system and the relevance of information during the emergency notification process.

«More the annual tests...»

In the first presentation about notification procedures and test optimisation, Mrs Dufrasne of the BCEE specified: "AlarmTILT® is not only used for annual tests. In case of a false alarm, AlarmTILT® manages the doubt removal and stops the alarm. In case of an incident, the system informs the city and the firemen."

«Seven times a day...»

After a short intervention of Romain Genson, Project Manager and certified as "Business Continuity Professional" at M-PLIFY S.A., Pierre Halleux spoke about the relevance and reliability of information: "AlarmTILT® allows to sort the important information for every different recipient. On average, Charleroi airport triggers procedures seven times a day. We have set up more than 40 procedures and also use AlarmTILT® for non-urgent procedures."

Discussions and exchanges

After a lively discussion at the end of the two presentations, the guests gathered around a walking lunch to exchange and benefit from the expertise of the other. One highlight of the day was certainly the presence of the AlarmTILT® developers, who were available to answer questions and to receive suggestions for improvements to retain for coming updates.
